It really is true, there are no rental fees! We will close the bar for your private event with the following minimums requirements:
- With at least twenty (20) guests Sunday thru Thursday or forty (40) Friday & Saturday, The Cavern will close the bar to the public for your special event for a maximum of four (4) hours. More time is available but the minimum purchase requirement increases. Note: If you are willing to cover the minimum you can have less people and we will still close the bar for you.
- Sunday thru Thursday night have a $700 minimum purchase requirement (add $175 per hour after 4 hours) and $1,500 on Friday and Saturday night (add $375 per hour after 4 hours). Minimums do not include sales tax or tips.
- Discounted time frame: Thursday 10a - 4p and Sunday 10a - 4p have a $350 minimum.
- We can run one tab or keep everyone separate, it's up to you. We can also manage tickets if you want to buy the first beverage for everyone.
- Decorations can be put up an hour before the event and removing them will also be your responsibility.
- We'll provide bartenders according to the number of guests expected.
- Food is available - see the "Food Menu" tab above. Restrictions apply depending on the number of guests. We can also prepare a custom menu, let's talk about it. You are welcome to bring food or have it catered but keep in mind the minimum sales requirement still must be met.
- We do not have liquor and it is NOT allowed inside the bar. This is a chill environment, we do want you and your guests to have fun but rowdy drunken behavior will not be permitted. We reserve the right to refuse service.
- A $200 cash deposit is required to hold the date. It is refundable if canceled more than 2 weeks from date, non-refundable within 2 weeks. Cash is required because we'll apply $200 to your tab the night of the event. (We only accept cash, Venmo or Zelle for the deposit).
- 49 person capacity.
